Our Senior Pastor is Rev. Dr. David T. Howeth. Pastor David grew up in Gainesville, Texas, and is a graduate of Baylor University with a B.S. and a M.A. in biology. Ministry is a second career for him, and after being called to serve the church as a member of the clergy, he earned a M.Div. from Perkins School of Theology at SMU and later a Doctor of Ministries degree from Brite Divinity School at TCU. He has been in ministry in the North Texas Annual Conference since 1986, serving urban, suburban, and rural churches.
Pastor David’s wife, Stephanie, is a R.N. who works as a school nurse at Armstrong Elementary School in Sachse, part of the Garland ISD. They have five children between them, ranging in ages from 18 to 28, and one grandson. The Howeths have been serving Schreiber since June of 2006. The Oxford Class is open to adults of all ages and we meet at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, and is open to everyone. We are studying Mark soon. Our group builds a strong fellowship as well as knowledge of the bible to become stronger faithful Disciples of Christ.

| Aldersgate Class |

The Aldersgate Class is an adult Sunday School class that meets at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, and is open to adults of all ages. We are studying a chronological list of 250 events in the life of Christ (as found in the Life Application Bible) in a format that includes a comparison of these events as told in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; and how we relate these events to us today. Come join us for fellowship, fun and sharing.
